/ˌhʌni-pɒt ˈænt / (say .hunee-pot 'ant)

any of various ants of several genera, including Melophorus and Camponotus, which has the ability to store a sweet liquid (like honey) in its distended crop, traditionally prized by Aboriginal people as food.
